THE BOXTROLLS

I created this campaign from concept to completion, the premise behind the film was up-cycling and The BoxTrolls making amazing inventions from bits of discarded junk so when designing the key art, I created the word “things” out of rusty nuts and bolts and did the typography as if it was made from metal in Victorian type as this was the era the film was set in. We were able to create 4 different Happy Meal boxes for this promotion and each one transformed into one of the main characters, each box had an up-cycling challenge to do and home and came with a free A6 activity booklet. There was a standee in all UK stores which housed 6 different postcards each with a different up-cycling challenge to do at home.
